My name is David Graham. I’m a musician, composer and performer who’s spent many years on stage — but The Astral Pianist is something quieter.
It began as a way to reconnect with what music truly means to me: presence, honesty, and emotion. I wanted to create something that felt human — not edited, not polished, just real.
Each commission is personal. I record alone, listen deeply, and let intuition guide the piece from start to finish.

I play a 120-year-old Bechstein upright, a piano with a voice full of warmth and character. Its soundboard has aged like oak — rich, resonant, and imperfect in all the right ways.
Every note carries the history of its wood and felt. When I play, it feels as if the instrument remembers — lending a depth that can’t be manufactured.
The room, the light, and the atmosphere all become part of the recording. Nothing added, nothing taken away — just the piano, the moment, and intention.
